For 6 years I worked for an inland operator, during this time I had the privilege of working with most of MARCOM’s inspectors. Over the course of 100 + inspections on both tugs and barges I never had any complaints from shorestaff or crew members about any of MARCOM’s inspectors. All inspectors were at all times courteous, well-mannered/tempered, and accommodating to the constant change in scheduling of an inspection and have always been willing to answer any questions I may have had regarding an inspection observation or industry related question.  For the past year I have worked for an oil major, in scheduling inspections MARCOM has always been quick to respond to an inspection request  as well as answering and explaining any questions we may have regarding an observation.
